This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Locally elevated fire weather conditions will develop this
afternoon over south-central Missouri due to a dry air mass
and increasing northwest winds. Fires in these conditions
will have the ability to quickly grow and spread.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible this weekend as a
storm system slowly moves through the region. Cloud to ground
lightning will be the primary potential hazard.

Brisk and gusty southerly winds will be possible next
Wednesday ahead of developing low pressure across the Plains.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
