This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited hail risk.
Elevated thunderstorm wind damage risk.
Limited flooding risk.
Elevated lightning risk.
Elevated non thunderstorm wind risk.


Thunderstorms will develop across the Ozarks today as an
intense storm system approaches from the west. A few of these
storms could become strong to severe over areas along and south
of a line from Table Rock Lake to Salem Missouri. Large hail
and damaging wind gusts are the primary risks with these

A few low water crossings will become impassable to
motorists later today and tonight. Rainfall amounts will range
from one quarter of an inch to one inch.

Windy conditions will develop across the region today and
tonight. Gusts of 45 to 55 mph will occur at times this
afternoon. The strongest winds are expected across southeastern
Kansas and western Missouri.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph will be possible on Thursday. These
wind gusts could lead to a grassland fire risk.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
