This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Numerous rain showers with isolated embedded thunderstorms are
expected this evening. Cloud to ground lightning will be the
primary potential hazard with thunderstorms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Sunday and Sunday
evening. A few strong to severe storms will be possible Sunday
afternoon and early Sunday evening mainly near and south of the
I-44 corridor. The main potential hazards will be hail to the size
of quarters, wind gusts up to 60 mph, and cloud to ground
lightning.

Brisk and gusty southerly winds will be possible next
Wednesday and Thursday ahead of developing low pressure across
the Plains. There will also be the potential for some
thunderstorms from Wednesday night into Friday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
