This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk.
Elevated lightning risk.
Elevated non thunderstorm wind risk.


Showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will track east
across the Ozarks this afternoon. The best chance of storms will
be over the eastern Ozarks. Some wind gusts with the
thunderstorms may reach 60 mph.

Some river flooding and low water crossing flooding will likely
persist through tonight.

Very windy conditions will continue this afternoon and tonight
across the area. Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph will be possible on Thursday. These
wind gusts could lead to a grassland fire risk.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
