This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated non thunderstorm wind risk.
Elevated fire weather risk.
Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Isolated brief thunderstorms will be possible over eastern
sections of the outlook area through 9 am with a cold frontal
passage.

Windy conditions will continue today before diminishing tonight.
West to southwest winds gusting to 40 to 50 mph are expected. An
elevated fire danger is also expected where drying grasses and
brush are exposed to the strong winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
