This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited excessive cold risk.
Elevated ice accumulation risk.
Limited snow and or sleet risk.

A mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow will occur across the area
beginning late Saturday night and into Sunday morning. Surface
temperatures will remain near or below freezing therefore travel
impacts are becoming increasingly likely by early Sunday morning.
A glaze to a tenth of an inch of ice and up to one inch of a
sleet/snow combination will be possible. Locations closer to US
Highway 54 will mainly see sleet and snow with locations further
south seeing more of a freezing rain or sleet mix.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Temperatures will warm above freezing Sunday afternoon which will
change any remaining precipitation to liquid.

Temperatures may cool down enough late Sunday night into early
Monday morning to change rain back over to a wintry mix across
the Lake of the Ozarks region. Some light accumulation will be
possible in that region.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
