This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited flooding risk.
Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
Elevated fog risk.
Elevated ice accumulation risk.
Limited snow risk.


Patchy fog will continue into this evening across much of the
Missouri Ozarks and extreme southeastern Kansas reducing
visibilities to a mile or less at times.

Light rain will continue to move across portions of the region
this afternoon and into this evening. This will allow for
continued or additional flooding to occur. A Flood Watch is in
effect through tonight for portions of south central Missouri.

A band of snow is expected to develop late tonight into Tuesday
morning. As little as a dusting to between one and two inches is
expected from the Springfield metro to the Lake of the Ozarks.
some very patchy freezing drizzle may also occur as the
precipitation comes to an end. Confidence is low in where the band
of snow will occur, however travel impacts during the morning
commute will occur where snow does fall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Gusty winds are expected from Tuesday through Friday with gusts
over 30 mph at times. A very warm and dry air mass will combine
with the gusty winds and could produce an elevate fire weather
risk for mainly grass and other fine fuels Wednesday afternoon.

Wind chills in the teens and single digits are expected to occur
during the overnight and early morning hours from Thursday night
to Saturday morning.

As the colder air moves into the area, some light snow may be
possible across portions of central Missouri Thursday night into
