This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited excessive cold risk.
Elevated ice accumulation risk.
Limited snow risk.


While the wintry precipitation has ended across the area, travel
across the region will remain hazardous with partially to totally
covered roadways with snow and ice through the early morning hours
today. In addition, wind chills will be in the single digits and
teens across much of the area early this morning.

Another storm system will bring more wintry weather to much the
area tonight. Expect mainly freezing rain and freezing drizzle,
with a little snow mixed in at times. Up to one tenth of an inch
of ice accumulation is expected with a dusting of snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Another winter storm system will bring a chance of accumulating
snow and ice to the area Tuesday night into Wednesday. Then a
weak system may impact the area Thursday night into Friday.

With the cold temperatures, there will be some wind chills in the
single digits to low teens at times.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
