This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Excessive cold risk.
Elevated Snow risk.


Another round of snow is currently spreading south across east
central Kansas into central Missouri early this morning. Missouri
Department of Transportation is already showing snow covered
roadways across western and central Missouri. The snow will
continue to sag south across the rest of the area this morning,
with snow lingering across far southern Missouri this afternoon
before completely spreading out of the area by this evening.
Snowfall amounts will range from 1 to 3 inches with this system.

Wind chills will drop to around zero this afternoon as
temperatures fall behind had the cold front. Wind chill values
tonight into Tuesday morning will fall into the minus 20 to minus
10 degree range. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for the entire
area this evening through Tuesday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Wind chill values values of minus 20 to minus 10 will linger into
Tuesday morning, with wind chills of minus 10 to zero occurring
Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
