This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

Southerly wind gusts of 30 to 35 mph can be expected across the
area this morning. Winds will slowly diminish this afternoon.

The winds in combination with a dry air mass will lead to an
elevated fire weather risk. Fires in these conditions will have
the ability to quickly grow and spread.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Single digit wind chill values are expected from Thursday night
into early Friday morning and at times across much of the region
from late Saturday night into early Monday morning.

There is a chance for light snow accumulation on Sunday night
and again next Tuesday, however confidence in accumulating snow
is limited.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
