This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non thunderstorm wind risk.
Significant Fire weather risk.


Brisk and gusty southwest winds will continue through the rest
of this afternoon into tonight as gusts between 25 and 35 mph
occur at times. A high fire danger will exist through the rest
of this afternoon as the gusty winds combine with a warm and
dry air mass. Elevated fire weather conditions then persisting
into early this evening.

Fires in these conditions will likely rapidly grow and
spread. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Brisk and gusty southerly winds are again expected for Friday
with gusts over 40 mph possible. Elevated fire weather
conditions are expected to develop Friday afternoon.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
