This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Non thunderstorm wind risk.
Elevated Fire weather risk.


Strong southerly winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts to near
45 mph will cotinue through the afternoon and into early
evening, with the highest winds across southeast Kansas and
southwest Missouri. The winds will diminish this evening.

In addition, these strong winds will result in elevated to
locally significant fire weather conditions, especially across
the eastern Ozarks. Conditions will improve this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Stronger winds are expected again on Tuesday and into Wednesday
which will lead to fire weather concerns once again.

A mix of precipitation is possible late Wednesday night
through Thursday.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
