This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Non thunderstorm wind risk.
Elevated to locally Significant Fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Strong southerly winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts to near 45 mph
will develop by mid morning and continue through the afternoon
hours, with the highest winds across southeast Kansas and
southwest Missouri. The winds will diminish this evening.

In addition, these strong winds will result in elevated to locally
significant fire weather conditions, especially across the eastern
Ozarks. Conditions will improve this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Stronger winds are expected again on Tuesday and into Wednesday
which will lead to fire weather concerns once again.

A mix of precipitation is possible from Wednesday night into
Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
