This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Lightning risk.
Limited Excessive heat risk.


Showers and isolated thunderstorms will end early this morning
with lightning being the main hazard.

Heat index values will be in the mid 90s across portions of south
central Missouri this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A complex of thunderstorms is expected to develop across eastern
Kansas late Friday and track southeast into northeast Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas Friday night. This complex may skirt far
southeast Kansas and far southwest Missouri. Depending upon the
track heavy rainfall will be possible.

Periodic showers and thunderstorms will be possible from Sunday
through Wednesday of next week.

Heat index values will warm into the middle and upper 90s by later
this weekend and early next week.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
