This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Lightning risk.

Widely scattered showers and storms may be possible across far
southwestern Missouri and far southeast Kansas late tonight as
an upper level disturbance moves just south of our region.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Daily shower and thunderstorms chances will be present across
the region through next week. The best chances for rain will
reside closer to the Arkansas and Oklahoma borders. A pattern
change is expected by late week, which will cause afternoon
high temperatures to be more like what we'd expect for August.
With temperatures warming back to seasonal levels, heat index
values may warm into the middle 90s for locations along and
west of the I49 corridor by the end of next week.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
