...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT SATURDAY...

* TEMPERATURE...Daily high temperatures through Saturday will
climb into the mid 90s with afternoon heat index values of
around 100 to near 105 degrees.

* IMPACTS...A prolonged period of hot weather can increase the
risk of heat related illness, including heat exhaustion and
heat stroke. The very young, the elderly, and those without
access to air conditioning will be especially vulnerable.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible.
