This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

An extended hot spell will persist the remainder of the week.
High temperatures will climb into the middle and upper 90s while
afternoon heat index values between 100 and 110 degrees will be
common. The hottest temperatures will occur from southeastern
Kansas into central Missouri.

Slightly cooler temperatures are then expected on Sunday and
especially next Monday and Tuesday as a front slides south into
the region. This front will also bring a chance for thunderstorms
from Sunday into early next work week.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
