This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Excessive heat risk.

DISCUSSION...

High temperatures in the middle 90s combined with a humid
airmass will result in afternoon heat index values in the upper
90s to near 100 degrees. The hottest temperatures will occur
from southeastern Kansas into central Missouri.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

An extended hot spell can be expected the remainder of the week
into the weekend. High temperatures will climb into the middle
and upper 90s while heat index values between 98 and 107 degrees
will be common.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
