This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Lightning risk.
Limited Excessive heat risk.


Heat indicies will remain in the mid to upper 90s across most of
the area through early evening.

An isolated shower or thunderstorm is possible across the extreme
eastern Ozarks this afternoon. Most locations will remain dry.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A summer time heat wave is expected this week. Temperatures will
warm into the mid to upper 90s from Tuesday through Sunday with
the warmest temps Thursday through Saturday. Heat indices between
100 and 110 will be common throughout this time period. This
prolonged heat will be dangerous to those with heat sensitives,
outdoor workers, and those without air conditioning.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
