This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Excessive heat risk.

DISCUSSION...

Temperatures will climb into the middle and upper 90s with heat
index value of 100 to 110 degrees this afternoon. The hottest
conditions will occur from southeastern Kansas into central
Missouri.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

High temperatures will once again top out in the middle to
upper 90s with heat index values between 100 and 110 degrees
Saturday. The hottest conditions will again occur from
southeastern Kansas into central Missouri. Heat index values in
the middle 90s to near 105 will occur on Sunday.

A front will then move through the region bringing shower and
thunderstorm chances to the area Sunday into early next week.
The front will also act to reduce temperatures during this
timeframe. Additional scattered rain chances and higher heat
index values will return by middle of next week.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
