This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Excessive heat risk.

DISCUSSION...

High temperatures in the middle 90s combined with a humid
airmass will cause heat index values in the upper 90s to around
102 degrees this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

An extended hot spell will persist the remainder of the week into
Saturday. High temperatures will climb into the middle and upper
90s while heat index values between 98 and 107 degrees will be
common. The hottest temperatures will occur from southeastern
Kansas into central Missouri.

There will be a chance for thunderstorms from Sunday and possibly into
early next week.
