This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Excessive heat risk.


Heat index values will rise into the mid 90s today across
mainly central Missouri into extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A tropical system moving up from the south and a cold front
moving down from the north will provide chances for showers and
thunderstorms Thursday and Friday. While confidence currently
remains low in the details of this system, locally heavy
rainfall may be possible across far south central Missouri.

Heat index values will be in the mid 90s for portions of the
area on Thursday.

Additional scattered thunderstorm chances will over the weekend
and early next week.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
