This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Lightning risk.
Limited Excessive heat risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind risk.


Isolated thunderstorms with brief gusty winds and lightning
may develop across portions of the area this evening. Most
locations will remain dry.

Heat index values may reach the middle 90s early this evening
across southeastern Kansas and portions of the Missouri Ozarks.

Southerly winds could gust up to 30 mph across portions of the

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop Wednesday
afternoon and continue into Thursday. Some of these storms
could be strong to locally severe mainly across central
Missouri later Wednesday afternoon and evening, and area wide
on Thursday.

In addition to unsettled weather Wednesday and Thursday, there
will be periodic chances for storms into the weekend.

Seasonably hot and humid conditions are expected through the
end of the week. Heat index values will reach the middle to
upper 90s especially across southeastern Kansas into central
portions of Missouri.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
