This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Lightning risk.
Limited Excessive heat risk.


Heat index values will rise into the mid 90s today across
extreme southeast Kansas.

A few scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible
towards morning across far south central Missouri. Most locations
will remain dry.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A tropical system moving up from the south and a cold front
moving down from the north will provide chances for showers and
thunderstorms Thursday and Friday. Locally heavy rainfall may be
possible across far south central Missouri however the most widespread
rainfall will occur south and east of the area. Most
thunderstorms will remain non severe however an isolated severe
thunderstorm can not be ruled out Friday across far south central missouri.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
