This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Lightning risk.
Limited Excessive heat risk.


A few isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible across far
southcentral Missouri this afternoon and evening. Brief gusty winds
and lightning are the main hazards. Most locations however will
remain dry Today.

Heat indices will reach the middle to upper 90s this afternoon across
southeast Kansas and portions of the Missouri Ozarks.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible across the Eastern Ozarks
again Tuesday afternoon with isolated strong wind gusts and lightning

While widespread severe weather appears unlikely at this time,
isolated severe wind gusts will be possible with the strongest
storms this week. Wednesday will feature the better chance for a
severe wind gust.

Seasonably warm and humid conditions are expected through the
end of the week. Heat indices will reach the middle to upper
90s this week, especially across southeastern Kansas and
western into central portions of Missouri.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
