DISCUSSION...

Gusty southerly winds of 30 to 40 mph will occur at times this

A cold front will slowly sag into the area late this evening into
tonight. Scattered storms will develop along the front and spread
east into areas generally north of Interstate 44 late this
evening into tonight.

A few strong to severe storms will be possible along and west of a
Joplin to Warsaw Missouri line late this evening into tonight.
Hail of the size of dimes to quarters will be the main risk.
There could also be a damaging wind risk with any line segments
that can develop but the overall better severe risk will generally
be west of the area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A few non-severe storms are expected to redevelop across southern
Missouri on Monday as the front stalls near the Arkansas border.

A more active pattern will then occur Wednesday night into the
weekend as a sires of disturbances track through the region.
Showers and storms will be possible with the passage of each
system.
