THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO THE WESTERN
HALF OF THE AREA LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY MORNING. NO SEVERE
WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

SOUTHEAST WIND GUSTS OF 30 MPH WILL OCCUR IN THE SPRINGFIELD AND
MARSHFIELD AREAS AT TIMES THROUGH TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS AT TIMES
MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
SLOWLY APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. THE WEATHER SYSTEM WILL FINALLY
MOVE OUT OF THE AREA THURSDAY.

GRADUALLY MOUNTING RAINFALL TOTALS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY WILL
RANGE FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES OVER PARTS OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI AND
SOUTHEAST KANSAS. THERE WILL BE A LIMITED FLOODING RISK FOR
CREEKS...STREAMS...AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS BY MID WEEK IN THIS
AREA.
