OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A FEW ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH TONIGHT. NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS AT TIMES
TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT AS AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE
SLOWLY APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. THIS WEATHER SYSTEM WILL FINALLY
MOVE OUT OF THE AREA THURSDAY.

GRADUALLY MOUNTING RAINFALL TOTALS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY WILL
RANGE FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES OVER PARTS OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI AND
SOUTHEAST KANSAS. THERE WILL BE A LIMITED FLOODING RISK FOR
CREEKS...STREAMS...AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS BY MID WEEK IN THIS
AREA.
