THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
ELEVATED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

HOT AND HUMID WEATHER WILL IMPACT ALL OF THE OZARKS TODAY WITH
HEAT INDICES TOPPING 105 DEGREES.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION LATE TODAY AND BRING
STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TO THE REGION. THE PRIMARY
CONCERNS WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE DAMAGING WIND GUSTS
TO 60 MPH, HAIL TO QUARTER SIZE AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ALONG A COLD FRONT
MONDAY. THE BEST CHANCE FOR STRONG STORMS WILL BE ACROSS THE
CENTRAL AND EASTERN OZARKS.
