OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
ELEVATED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
ELEVATED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.
ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK.

DISCUSSION...

HOT AND HUMID WEATHER WILL IMPACT ALL OF THE OZARKS TODAY WITH
HEAT INDICES TOPPING 105 DEGREES.

ORGANIZED STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT. THE PRIMARY CONCERNS WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL BE
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH...HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF
QUARTERS...AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ALONG A COLD FRONT
MONDAY. THE BEST CHANCE FOR STRONG STORMS WILL BE ACROSS THE
CENTRAL AND EASTERN OZARKS.
