WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
ELEVATED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SLIGHT CHANCE THAT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP EARLY
FRIDAY MORNING ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44.

AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES WILL RANGE FROM 98 TO 104 DEGREES. A HEAT
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT NORTH OF A FORT SCOTT TO STOCKTON TO
VERSAILLES LINE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AT TIMES SUNDAY THROUGH THE
MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. SOME STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE ON SUNDAY
AFTERNOON ALONG AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 60 WITH DAMAGING WINDS AND
HAIL BEING THE PRIMARY THREAT. OTHERWISE...SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED.

AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO 109 FROM SATURDAY
THROUGH SUNDAY. A HEAT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE AREA
FROM SATURDAY THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY EVENING.

AFTERNOON HEAT INDICES WILL ONCE AGAIN APPROACH 100 DEGREES ON
THURSDAY.
