THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A WEAKENING AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO
CENTRAL MISSOURI AND THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS REGION THIS MORNING.
FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL CAN BE EXPECTED.

ANOTHER COMPLEX OF STORMS MAY DROP SOUTH INTO THE REGION THIS
AFTERNOON...THOUGH THE EXACT TRACK AND TIMING OF THIS AREA OF
THUNDERSTORMS REMAINS VERY MUCH IN QUESTION. WIND GUSTS TO
AROUND 50 MPH...ALONG WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT
LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS ROUND OF STORMS...IF THEY
ARE ABLE TO MOVE INTO THE AREA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

PERIODIC THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE EXPECTED FROM FRIDAY INTO
EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE BEST CHANCES FOR STORMS FRIDAY THROUGH THE
WEEKEND WILL BE ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI AND THE EASTERN OZARKS.
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE AREA WIDE EARLY NEXT WEEK AS
A COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE REGION.
