OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR A SCATTERED STORM OR TWO ACROSS PORTIONS OF
SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...GENERALLY WEST OF
HIGHWAY 65 THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.

MARGINAL INSTABILITY AND DECREASING WIND SHEAR WILL LIMIT THE OVERALL
THREAT. HOWEVER...A STRAY STORM MAY CONTAIN SMALL HAIL AND PERHAPS
A WIND GUST UP TO 40MPH. LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE
POSSIBLE IF THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY MATERIALIZES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

PERIODIC THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE EXPECTED FROM FRIDAY INTO EARLY
NEXT WEEK. THE BEST CHANCES FOR STORMS FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND
WILL BE ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI AND THE EASTERN OZARKS.
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE AREA WIDE EARLY NEXT WEEK AS A
COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE REGION.
