LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.
LIMITED FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

PATCHY FOG WILL REDUCE THE VISIBILITY TO LESS THAN A MILE AT
SOME LOCATIONS ACROSS THE MISSOURI OZARKS EARLY THIS MORNING.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER PARTS OF THE AREA
THIS AFTERNOON.

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL APPROACH THE MIDDLE 90S THIS AFTERNOON
FOR PARTS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE AREA WIDE LATE SUNDAY NIGHT
AND MONDAY AS A COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE REGION. A FEW STRONG
TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH LARGE HAIL UP TO QUARTERS
AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH BEING THE MAIN THREATS.

PERIODIC LIMITED THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE EXPECTED FROM MONDAY
THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL REACH INTO THE MID 90S SUNDAY AFTERNOON
FOR PARTS OF SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI.
