THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

AN AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL TRACK THE CENTRAL MISSOURI INTO THE
EASTERN OZARKS THIS AFTERNOON WITH A LIMITED RISK OF LARGE HAIL
AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS NORTH OF A LINE FROM GIRARD KANSAS TO
SALEM MISSOURI. SOME LOCALIZED HEAVY RAIN MAY ALSO OCCUR OVER
PARTS OF CENTRAL MISSOURI.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR A COMPLEX OF STORMS TO MOVE INTO PORTIONS OF
EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND CENTRAL MISSOURI AGAIN LATE
TONIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY. DUE TO MARGINAL INSTABILITY...IF THIS
SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE AREA SMALL HAIL AND LOCALIZED WIND GUSTS TO
50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE ALONG WITH HEAVY RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

PERIODIC THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE EXPECTED FROM FRIDAY INTO EARLY
NEXT WEEK. THE BEST CHANCES FOR STORMS FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND
WILL BE ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI AND THE EASTERN OZARKS.
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE AREA WIDE EARLY NEXT WEEK AS A
COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE REGION.
