ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON...MAINLY
ALONG AND NORTHEAST OF A LINE FROM NEVADA TO SPRINGFIELD TO
BRANSON. SMALL HAIL...GUSTY WINDS BETWEEN 40 AND 50 MPH...AND
FREQUENT LIGHTNING CAN BE EXPECTED WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

PERIODIC THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE EXPECTED FROM FRIDAY INTO
EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE BEST CHANCES FOR STORMS FRIDAY THROUGH THE
WEEKEND WILL BE ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI AND THE EASTERN OZARKS.
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE AREA WIDE EARLY NEXT WEEK AS
A COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE REGION.
