OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK.

DISCUSSION...

DRY CONDITIONS ALONG WITH MODERATELY GUSTY SOUTH WINDS WILL
PRODUCE ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON WITH
OUTDOOR FIRES HARDER IN SOME AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

WARM TEMPERATURES...STRONG WINDS...AND LOW HUMIDITY WILL LEAD TO
AN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK AGAIN DURING THE DAY
MONDAY....ESPECIALLY OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND IN ADJACENT AREAS
OF WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.

SOUTH WIND GUSTS OF 35 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE ON MONDAY OVER SOUTH
EAST KANSAS AND PARTS OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.

MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. SOME
LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE SATURDAY.
