THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED EXCESSIVE COLD RISK.
LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.
ELEVATED ICE ACCUMULATION RISK.

DISCUSSION...

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BRING MUCH COLDER TEMPERATURES AND
SOME FREEZING DRIZZLE AND LIGHT FREEZING RAIN TONIGHT INTO
MONDAY MORNING. MINOR ICE ACCUMULATIONS...MAINLY ON ELEVATED
SURFACES...OF A GLAZE TO A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH MAY OCCUR
WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS AROUND A TENTH OF AN INCH POSSIBLE ACROSS
PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. THOSE TRAVELING TONIGHT
THROUGH MONDAY SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THE POTENTIAL OF SOME SLICK
SPOTS MAINLY ON BRIDGES, OVERPASSES, AND UNTREATED ROADS AND
PARKING LOTS.

SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL GUST TO AROUND 35 MPH AT TIMES THIS MORNING
ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI. WINDS WILL
THEN SHIFT OUT OF THE NORTH TO NORTHWEST THIS EVENING AND GUST
FROM 25 TO 30 MPH AT TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

WIND CHILLS WILL DROP INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS GENERALLY NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 44 SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY MORNING AS NORTH WINDS
FROM 20 TO 25 MPH OCCUR ACROSS MUCH OF THE OZARKS.
