OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S ARE
EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND
SOUTHERN MISSOURI TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY AFTERNOONS.

SOUTHERLY WIND GUSTS AROUND 30 MPH ARE EXPECTED ALONG AND WEST
OF THE INTERSTATE 49 CORRIDOR ON TUESDAY.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TUESDAY...PRIMARILY ACROSS
CENTRAL MISSOURI. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL THEN BRING A GOOD
CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TO THE OUTLOOK AREA FROM EARLY
WEDNESDAY MORNING INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY
THEN LINGER INTO THURSDAY MORNING ACROSS SOUTHERN MISSOURI.

A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA
ON WEDNESDAY AS THE FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE REGION...WITH THE
MAIN RISK HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS.
