LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S THIS
AFTERNOON.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE AROUND THIS AFTERNOON WITH CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING POSSIBLE MAINLY OVER THE EASTERN MISSOURI
OZARKS.

A BETTER CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO PORTIONS OF
SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND EXTREME WESTERN MISSOURI VERY LATE TONIGHT
INTO EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE LABOR DAY
WEEKEND...WITH THE GREATEST CHANCE FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SATURDAY AND AGAIN MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT
ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME BUT FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING
IS EXPECTED AND WILL BE THE PRIMARY RISK.

BOATERS...FLOATERS...CAMPERS...AND ANYONE PARTICIPATING IN
