THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED TORNADO RISK.
ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
ELEVATED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
LIMITED EXCESSIVE HEAT RISK.

DISCUSSION...

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH THE GREATEST COVERAGE ACROSS THE
EASTERN OZARKS.

THERE WILL BE A LIMITED TO ELEVATED RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER
MAINLY ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI. IF SEVERE STORMS
DEVELOP...THEY WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL TO THE
SIZE OF QUARTERS...DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH...AND PERHAPS
AN ISOLATED TORNADO.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS MAY IMPACT PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK
AREA LATE TONIGHT AS A THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX APPROACHES FROM THE
WEST.

A HOT AND HUMID AFTERNOON IS EXPECTED WITH HEAT INDEX VALUES IN
THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 90S.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

PERIODIC ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR THURSDAY TO SUNDAY.
STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AT TIMES. AREAS OF
HEAVY RAIN AND POSSIBLE FLOODING WILL BE A CONCERN DEPENDING ON
THE TRACK AND EVOLUTION OF EACH INDIVIDUAL THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX
OR LINE OF STORMS.
