THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SUSTAINED SOUTHERLY WINDS AROUND 20 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 30 MPH
ARE AGAIN EXPECTED TODAY ACROSS PRIMARILY WESTERN MISSOURI AND
EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

DEVELOPING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM NORTHEASTERN KANSAS
INTO SOUTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA MAY TRACK INTO EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI LATE TONIGHT. THE MAIN HAZARD WITH
THESE STORMS WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS UP TO 30 MPH ARE AGAIN EXPECTED ACROSS
EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI ON THURSDAY.

MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL THEN BE
POSSIBLE FROM THURSDAY INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. THERE IS A
LIMITED TO ELEVATED THREAT FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS BOTH
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. POTENTIAL SEVERE WEATHER HAZARDS FOR
THURSDAY INCLUDE HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WIND GUSTS UP
TO 60 MPH...PRIMARILY WEST OF HIGHWAY 63.

THE THREAT FOR SEVERE STORMS ON FRIDAY WILL THEN BE HIGHLY
DEPENDENT ON THE AMOUNT OF INSTABILITY THAT CAN DEVELOP AHEAD

OF GOLF BALLS AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH.

THE RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS FROM SATURDAY THROUGH

DIFFERENCES IN WEATHER MODELS.
