THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SUSTAINED SOUTHERLY WINDS AROUND 20 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 30 MPH
WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH INTO EARLY THIS EVENING ACROSS
PRIMARILY WESTERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP TO THE WEST OF THE AREA
OVERNIGHT AND MAY BEGIN TO TRACK INTO EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS AND FAR WESTERN MISSOURI LATE TONIGHT. THE MAIN HAZARD
WITH THESE STORMS WILL BE CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS UP TO 30 MPH ARE AGAIN EXPECTED ACROSS
EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI ON THURSDAY.

MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR FROM
THURSDAY INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS
WILL BE POSSIBLE ON THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT AS A COLD FRONT
SAGS SOUTH INTO THE AREA. THE MAIN HAZARDS WITH THIS ACTIVITY
WILL BE HAIL TO THE SIZE OF QUARTERS AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH
THE MAIN HAZARDS.

THE FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO SAG SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE AREA ON
FRIDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY MORNING. IF THIS ACTIVITY CLEARS EARLY ENOUGH AND ENOUGH
INSTABILITY CAN MATERIALIZES...THERE WILL BE THE POTENTIAL FOR
SEVERE STORMS AGAIN FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE HAZARDS
WITH THIS ACTIVITY WOULD INCLUDE HAIL TO THE SIZE OF GOLF BALLS
AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH.

THE RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS FROM SATURDAY THROUGH
TUESDAY THEN REMAINS HIGHLY UNCERTAIN DUE TO SIGNIFICANT
DIFFERENCES IN WEATHER MODELS.
