THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED TORNADO RISK.
LIMITED HAIL RISK.
LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS WILL SHIFT SLOWLY
EAST AND NORTHEAST TONIGHT...POSSIBLY AFFECTING PARTS OF THE
OUTLOOK AREA FROM THE FORT SCOTT AREA EAST INTO WEST CENTRAL AND
CENTRAL MISSOURI AFTER MIDNIGHT.

THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF ANOTHER AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS MAY BRIEFLY
ALSO AFFECT NORTHEASTERN PARTS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA OF CENTRAL
MISSOURI THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

THE OVERALL POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE STORMS HAS BECOME MORE
LIMITED. THE MAIN POTENTIAL STORM HAZARDS WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS
AND UP TO ONE INCH HAIL WITH STRONGER STORMS. FREQUENT LIGHTNING
CAN ALSO BE EXPECTED WHERE STORMS OCCUR.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS MAY AFFECT THE AREA LATE SUNDAY NIGHT IN ADVANCE OF
A COLD FRONT...BUT MOST AREAS WILL NOT SEE ANY THUNDERSTORMS UNTIL
MONDAY WHEN THIS SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE AREA FROM THE WEST.

STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL THEN BE POSSIBLE ON MONDAY AS THE
COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE AREA FROM THE WEST.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

DUE TO THE LIMITED SEVERE WEATHER POTENTIAL...SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL
NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
