THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED TORNADO RISK.
ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
ELEVATED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING ALONG A DRYLINE OVER EASTERN
KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON. SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY PUSH INTO
LOCATIONS ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM PITTSBURG KANSAS TO
VERSAILLES MISSOURI THIS EVENING. WITHIN THIS AREA THERE IS AN
ELEVATED RISK OF LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WINDS
ALONG WITH A LIMITED RISK OF A TORNADO. MOST AREAS ARE EXPECTED
TO REMAIN DRY TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

STORMS MAY BEGIN TO MOVE BACK INTO THE AREA LATE SUNDAY NIGHT
IN ADVANCE OF A COLD FRONT...BUT MOST AREAS WILL NOT SEE ANY
THUNDERSTORMS UNTIL MONDAY WHEN THIS SYSTEM MOVES INTO THE AREA
FROM THE WEST.

STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL THEN BE POSSIBLE ON MONDAY AS THE
COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE AREA FROM THE WEST.
