THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK LATE TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION...

THERE IS A LIMITED RISK FOR LIGHTNING ASSOCIATED WITH
THUNDERSTORMS THAT MOVE IN TO SOUTHEAST KANSAS TOWARD MORNING.
THESE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE...THOUGH MAY PRODUCE WINDS
TO 50 MPH AND DIME SIZE HAIL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

NON SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER OKLAHOMA
LATE TONIGHT AND SPREAD NORTHEAST ACROSS SOUTHWEST MISSOURI INTO
CENTRAL MISSOURI DURING THE MORNING INTO THE EARLY AFTERNOON.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL
THEN REDEVELOP OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS TO ALONG THE INTERSTATE 49 CORRIDOR
DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON AND AGAIN SPREAD NORTHEAST DURING THE
EVENING. TORNADOES WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH BETTER CHANCES ALONG
AND WEST OF INTERSTATE 49 DURING THE EARLY EVENING AND THEN SOUTH
OF HIGHWAY 60 THROUGH MIDNIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REFORM ACROSS THE EASTERN OZARKS
MONDAY AFTERNOON. A FEW OF THESE MAY REACH SEVERE LIMITS OVER
SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI.
