OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.
ELEVATED FROST RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE
MISSOURI OZARKS THIS AFTERNOON. OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND VERY SMALL HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE.

PATCHY TO AREAS OF FROST ARE EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT ACROSS THE
REGION AS TEMPERATURES FALL INTO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 30S.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON ACROSS EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AS WELL AS CENTRAL
AND SOUTHWESTERN MISSOURI. AN INCREASE IN SOUTHERLY WINDS ALONG
WITH THE PRESENCE OF A DRY AIRMASS COULD LEAD TO A RAPID SPREAD
OF GRASS FIRES.

SOUTHWEST WIND GUSTS OF AROUND 30 MPH ARE POSSIBLE THURSDAY
AFTERNOON.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE FRIDAY AS A FRONT STALLS
OVER SOUTHERN MISSOURI.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE ONCE AGAIN EXPECTED SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.
