OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED FLOODING RISK.
SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.
LIMITED NON THUNDERSTORM WIND RISK.

DISCUSSION...

SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER ACROSS FAR SOUTH
CENTRAL MISSOURI NEAR THE ARKANSAS BORDER LATE THIS EVENING THEN
END OVERNIGHT. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING
WILL BE POSSIBLE SOUTHEAST OF A GAINESVILLE TO EMINENCE LINE.
SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED THE REMAINDER OF TONIGHT.

MINOR RESIDUAL FLOODING WILL LINGER ALONG FLOOD PRONE LOW WATER
CROSSINGS ACROSS CENTRAL MISSOURI.

GUSTY WESTERLY TO NORTHWESTERLY WINDS UP TO 30 MPH WILL DEVELOP
OVERNIGHT AS A COLD FRONT PUSHES ACROSS THE AREA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

BEHIND THIS STORM SYSTEM...BRISK AND GUSTY WEST NORTHWEST WINDS
ARE EXPECTED FOR FRIDAY WHICH WILL LEAD TO ELEVATED FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS THAT HAVE NOT RECEIVED
AS MUCH RAINFALL OVER THE PAST 48 HOURS.
