THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK.

DISCUSSION...

DRY CONDITIONS WILL RESULT IN AN ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER RISK THROUGH
EARLY THIS EVENING WEST OF HIGHWAY 65...ESPECIALLY IN WOODED
AREAS THAT HAVE NOT YET LEAFED OUT THIS SPRING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE
KANSAS AND MISSOURI BORDER AROUND SUNRISE SATURDAY...AND NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 44 SATURDAY MORNING.

NON THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS WILL APPROACH 30 MPH ON SATURDAY AND
AGAIN ON SUNDAY.

MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
ACROSS THE OUTLOOK AREA FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY
NIGHT. LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE THE MAIN RISK WITH
THESE STORMS. THERE IS A CONDITIONAL RISK FOR TORNADOES
ESPECIALLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING IF ENOUGH INSTABILITY CAN
DEVELOP.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REFORM ACROSS THE EASTERN OZARKS MONDAY
AFTERNOON. A FEW OF THESE MAY REACH SEVERE LIMITS OVER SOUTH CENTRAL
MISSOURI.
