OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

LIMITED LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR ISOLATED NON SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TO
FORM ALONG THE KANSAS AND MISSOURI BORDER AFTER MIDNIGHT...WITH A
FEW STORMS MOVING OVER AREAS NORTH OF INTERSTATE 44 OVERNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

NON THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS WILL APPROACH 30 MPH ON SATURDAY AND
AGAIN ON SUNDAY.

AN EPISODE OF SEVERE STORMS ARE FORECAST FOR SUNDAY AND SUNDAY
NIGHT. THE RISK FOR TORNADOES IS BEING MONITORED AT THIS TIME
HOWEVER THERE IS AN ELEVATED RISK FOR LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WIND
GUSTS.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REFORM OVER THE EASTERN OZARKS
MONDAY AFTERNOON. A FEW OF THESE MAY REACH SEVERE LIMITS OVER
SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI.
